A couple of days ago, many PlayStation 3 users found that l latest Sony firmware, version 4.45, hangs indefinitely at its startup platform.
Updating the firmware responsible for the error, was released on Tuesday, and aimed to improve system stability and extending the customization tools.
The company quickly removed the 4.45 version of the online service to fix the bug. Now PlayStation Europe has announced that the solution will come next June 27, supposedly worldwide, although the official Twitter account PS3 has not posted anything about it.
It is unclear the number of people affected by the problem, Sony has insisted that it has not spread and it is a small group, but it has been many users who have complained that their console forums froze. The waiting week will be frustrating for you every time you turn on your console look like this hangs on boot, but at least now have a date with the solution.
