Those who anxiously awaited the arrival of the iPhone 5S as an opportunity to get an iPhone for the price of low-end smartphone will be disappointed. The CEO of Pegatron , the company that will manufacture the new smartphone from Apple, has recognized that this will have a lower price than high end mobiles, but that in no way going to be "cheap".

In a meeting with shareholders today, the head of Pegatron, TH Tung, said the so-called "low cost iPhone" will be a reality this year, but it will not be cheap. The new phone will be more of a mid-range product with a relatively high price, as reported by Apple Insider .

Tung manifesto that disagrees with rumors they define as "cheap" low-end product of Apple, ensuring that the "price will remain high." The manager said the products currently on the market may lead to a number of names, but "cheap" is not an adjective that should be associated with the Apple iPhone more affordable.

The Pegatron CEO said the price of the new phone would be "quite high" but did not disclose the specific price ranges. Tung said that compared to feature phones, cheaper smartphones today are capable of doing many things that justify higher prices.

Tung's comments are something to consider, as the company directed handle at least part of the manufacture of iPhone 5S. Pegatron expects to hire 40,000 workers in the second half of this year, in order to produce that now seems so-called low-cost iPhone.
